Lebanon
Lebanon contributes the pair that bracket Phoenicia. Byblos has been continuously inhabited for some seven thousand years and gave its name to the book by way of the papyrus trade; Beirut has been destroyed and rebuilt often enough that the count is disputed, most recently by a port explosion in 2020 that removed a district. The country's entry in the atlas is not resilience as a compliment but as an observable pattern.
