Pampelonne lies inside this commune and not inside Saint-Tropez, which is the fact that explains the place: five kilometres of sand whose beach clubs the commune has been cutting back by decree since 2015, from dozens of concessions toward a capped number. The hill village above sells for more per square metre than anywhere else in France — 16,083 euros in 2024, ahead of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, with Paris fifteenth.
