Polanco

Laid out in the 1930s as a garden suburb with streets named after philosophers and writers — Homer, Aristotle, Dickens — for buyers who wanted distance from the centre. The centre reached it within two generations, and the philosophers now name the addresses of the embassies, the galleries and the most expensive restaurants in Mexico.
