Three blocks that were a bridle path on a Spanish land grant and stayed ordinary until Fred Hayman opened Giorgio at number 273 in 1961 and began sending scented mailers across the country. Vidal Sassoon, Gucci and the rest followed within the decade, which makes this the youngest address in the collection and the one assembled fastest.
