Denmark
Denmark's two entries are the same argument at different scales. Copenhagen cleaned a harbour so polluted that swimming was banned in the 1990s and now people swim in the centre of the city, while its modernist chairs and lamps stay in production sixty years on because they were designed for factories rather than galleries. Louisiana, north of the capital, is a museum arranged so that the sea is always in view.
