Queenstown

Queenstown sits on a glacial lake beneath a mountain range so sheer it is called the Remarkables, and in 1988 the world's first commercial bungy jump opened on a bridge outside town — the landscape became a business model. The Skyline gondola gives the geography; then drive to Glenorchy along the lake, which is the road everyone photographs and few actually take.
