Henri Nestlé developed his infant formula in Vevey in 1867 and the company is still headquartered here, with a museum of food in a converted factory. Chaplin lived at Corsier above the town for the last twenty-five years of his life after leaving the United States, and his manor is now a museum with a studio reconstruction.
