The Valley / Anguilla

In 1967 Anguilla put the police of Saint Kitts on a boat, declared itself independent of the federation London had assigned it to, and then asked Britain to come back and govern it. It is the only territory in the world to have revolted in favour of colonial rule and got what it asked for, and the reward is thirty-three beaches with no high-rise on any of them.
