Kunming

Kunming sits at 1,890 metres on the Yunnan plateau, which gives it a climate averaging fifteen degrees year-round and the name city of eternal spring — the reason a botanical garden and the flower trade centred here. The Stone Forest an hour away is karst eroded into pillars, and Yunnan holds more plant species than any other Chinese province.
