Fari Islands

Three islands were raised out of the lagoon in North Malé and finished in 2021, sharing a single marina village designed by Kengo Kuma instead of each keeping its own arrival and its own shops. The Ritz-Carlton and Patina opened onto that common quay within months of each other, and it is the sharing, not the reclamation, that makes this one place rather than a pair of resorts.
