Herceg Novi / Portonovi

Everything entering the Boka passes this headland, which is why the town changed hands between Bosnians, Ottomans, Venetians, Russians, French and Austrians in four centuries and kept a fortress from each of them. Portonovi opened on the shore below in 2019 with a marina of 238 berths, and the arrangement repeats what Tivat did at the inner end of the same bay a decade earlier.
