Riyadh

Riyadh was a walled town of about thirty thousand people in the 1930s and is now a metropolis of over seven million, with a metro of six lines opened in 2024 and a park project planting seven and a half million trees. The changes since 2017 — cinemas, tourist visas, women driving — happened within a few years, and the city is the clearest place to observe them.
