Jackson Hole
Wild West on the Slope
Portrait
Jackson Hole is a valley floor at the foot of the Tetons where twenty-five thousand thousand elk winter on the National Elk Refuge, and the tram rises 1,262 metres in nine minutes to terrain that includes Corbet's Couloir, entered by a jump of three to six metres. The town square has arches built from shed elk antlers.
