Saas-Fee lies in a cirque surrounded by thirteen peaks over four thousand metres, with the Feegletscher hanging directly above the village, and cars are banned — visitors park at the entrance and walk. The world's highest revolving restaurant sits at 3,500 metres, reached by an underground funicular through the glacier.
