Wanaka

Wanaka sits on a glacial lake at the entrance to Mount Aspiring National Park, and a crack willow growing in the shallows — planted accidentally when a fence post took root — has become one of the most photographed trees in the world, to the mild embarrassment of a town with actual mountains behind it.
