Montecatini Terme
Tuscan Waters
Portrait
Montecatini's four springs are taken by drinking rather than immersion, each prescribed for a different complaint, and the Tettuccio establishment of 1928 is a marble and majolica hall where patients circulate with glasses to music. Verdi, Puccini and Fellini all took the cure, and a funicular climbs to the medieval village above.
