Como
Silk & Lake Light
Portrait
Como has woven silk since the 1400s and still produces a large share of Europe's high-end silk — most of the printed scarves of the Italian and French houses are made within a few kilometres. The lake is 410 metres deep, the third deepest in Europe, and Pliny the Younger had two villas on it that he described in his letters.
